Local Tourism for Modbury

I lost my car keys the other day. I popped in here to ask if they had been handed in. The staff managed me to stop me crying and told me they would contact me if the keys were handed in later. I ran home and discovered I left the keys in the salad crisper of the fridge..............AGAIN!!?

If you love walking then this is a place to consider. Plenty of hills to exercise your bum!! Beautiful views and lots of geocaches if you like to find things with the kiddies. Several phone masts have now been erected so no problem with phone signals anymore. Take your own food and water and don’t forget to wear decent walking boots or shoes. Adders in the long grass so be careful. Lots of livestock so dogs should be on a lead or have had livestock familiarisation training. A beautiful area of the South West. I love west Devon.

South Devon, stunningly beautiful countryside and coastline, full of wildlife, busy farmers and the odd surfer. A coastal path takes you through the landscape if you wish. Views that dare you to walk by without stopping to take it all in. The perfect place to switch off and relax.

Brilliant shop, tempting stuff and a good selection for youngsters.

Brilliant service, many wet suits to try on and get the correct fit, which is essential. very friendly, worth the drive. will be using this shop for all purchases in the future. Andy - Torquay.

Great trip. Much better than attempting to drive in to Salcombe.
