Mark has just come to service our oil boiler. We thought we'd give Oil Burner a go after a rather mixed/poor experience with another vendor. What a difference. Mark was on time, polite, informative and efficient in getting the job done. Within 5 minutes of being on site he highlighted a couple inexpensive issues which should have been addressed in the past and hadn't. He also offered informative advice on a couple of other issues we been thinking about. Top guy. It's early days and only one visit so far but pleasantly impressed.

Can’t rate them any higher. Really lovey customer service, quick and efficient. Get to the route of the problem quickly with no fuss. I been using them for several years now. Always get to me that day in an emergency.

I had a first class service. I took my laptop in for a keyboard repair and got it back the next day. Gabriel was extremely efficient and helpful. I would recommend him any day.

Our desktop PC had a failure and a quick search for local 'fixers' lead us to Gabriel at KTechnology Solutions. He quickly responded to our need for help and soon had a solution and fix to our problem and made all the appropriate repairs. PC runs so sweetly now! Highly recommend Gabriel for not only providing a fix but for giving all sorts of other tips, hints and actions for keeping good maintenance.

I just wanted to thank Jack at the Kingsbridge store and deliveryman Gerald and his mate for an easy, cheerful and efficient purchase and installation of our new dishwasher. £25 for delivery, removal of the old machine and (slightly awkward) installation of the new one is well worth the money. I do most of my shopping on line but value Beacon’s personal and responsive service for appliances.

Marchand Petit were a highly professional estate agents who had extensive local knowledge and conducted our purchase transaction very efficiently. They offered excellent advice when we asked them to recommend a local surveyor and solicitor - and both of whom proved to be outstanding in their service. They also gave us a clear indication regarding the future market potential for the property if we were to do some extensive modernization and extension work. Indeed, they actually offered some key suggestions as to what should be included in the work to maximise the property's, potential. This was extremely helpful with our planning and decision -making. I am happy to recommend Marchand Petit without reservation, and I thank them for their service, at what was an extremely busy and frenetic time in March this year prior to the deadline brought about by the autumn Budget changes.

I have recently purchased a beautiful home in the South Hams via Marchand Petit in Kingsbridge. In particular Tom Fallaize dealt with my initial enquiry, the subsequent viewing and then the negotiations following my offer. As this was the first home that I have purchased single handedly I found Tom's help, support and good humour completely invaluable. At no point did Tom or any of the other staff at Marchand Petit live up to the negative reputation that so many estate agents have! Buying and completing on this home has been a pleasurable experience from start to finish and I can't hesitate to recommend their services.

My wife and I were completely satisfied with the Lettings Department. Sally was very patient in helping us seek the right tenant for our cottage, and helping us to deal tactfully with some difficult applicants. We have no hesitation in recommending them, and we'll use them again next time. Cathy was her usual efficient self dealing with the administration.

Charlie Brown helped me with my pensions - which were a bit of a mess! He found out exactly what I wanted to do and then advised me the best way to do it. He takes time. He doesn't rush you and there is no hard sell. He considers all the areas of financial planning and makes sure that what he advises doesn't impact on other areas. His charges are clear (and worth every penny) and if I need him, he deals with me. I would thoroughly recommend Charlie - as I have and several of my friends are now clients.

Lovely salon, with a great feel, very welcoming. My hair was cut and finished by a young lady called Shannon who listened, understood and took notice of what I wanted. Although I only visit this area from time to time, I will return to have my hair done again.

We have used South Hams Pet Care's home sitting service for our 3 demanding Siamese cats (and less demanding tortoise) regularly for the past 5 years, and really cannot praise Annette highly enough. As well as being highly efficient and flexible, she takes an interest in the animals that goes far beyond the professional. We have recommended her to friends, and will continue to do so.

We rate Animals at Home South Devon 5/5! We were initially looking for someone to look after our golden Labrador, Esther whilst we went on holiday and were really reluctant to send her to kennels. After searching online we came across Animals at Home - this is Annette's own home and is complete with a large garden, dog toys and love! As Annette has a large van she is able to take them out on long walks which is great for Esther. We now use Annette very regularly and Esther absolutely loves it there...so much so she whines all the way there and comes back pooped - which is great to see. We would highly recommend Annette and Animals at Home (South Devon) to anyone! Thanks Annette :)

Great shelter to go and visit away from busy shelters , you get to have a more one on one experience with the cats , rather than being asked 100 questions like some other places . The people that work there are amazing and can tell if you're into cats and understand them , a little out the way but nicer for the cats to be in a sunny spot while they wait to be adopted :) with brilliant people looking after them in the mean time , got my cat from there and he couldn't be sweeter 🐱

Best pizza around, quality pizza and toppings and fast, free delivery. The sides are also super tasty, would recommend the curly fries in a meat combo box! Decent prices and good food. Would highly recommend.

Spent the day at North sands beach at Salcombe and made the journey to pizza planet for dinner. Well worth the trip, one of the very best pepperoni pizzas I've ever had and trust me, I had a few. Rest of the family had the Hey pesto and again where very impressed. Will defo be back next year when we're down on holiday again.

Visiting the area I searched Google for Indian takeaways around Kingsbridge, confronted by mixed reviews of the Delhi Spice I decided to give it a go. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly, Mo the owner and head chef informed me he had been there for over seven years and he clearly cared about serving the local community. I ordered a chicken Madras and it was absolutely spot on, reminded me of being in South India. Only slight mumble was the size of the chicken pieces but I do understand nothing can ever be perfect, I will certainly order from here again when I am in the area.

This place knocks the socks of nearly every other Indian restaurant I have visited, and that's a tall order. The service is fantastic and the food is brilliant. The care that goes into every dish is obvious with the presentation alone. If you like Indian food then make sure you don't miss this opportunity if you are in the area.

My husband called earlier to get an appointment. The staff in the office were very helpful on the phone. Once my husband and dog got to the office the staff were still just as friendly. When the vet saw us, she checked my dog efficiently and was really friendly and explained what was wrong. I'd definitely recommend this vet to anyone.

Needed medication for our Labrador, they were so so helpful, Checked with our usual vet to make sure everything was in order. Came back later in day vet checked our dog over and then authorised medication. Brilliant service and nice friendly staff

Friendly welcome from the staff, and they made a fuss of our dog when we went in the last time. Reasonably priced for flea and worming tablets, and weirdly they do a loyalty card for that as well.
