We are so lucky to have such a lovely little restaurant in Kingsbridge. It is my absolute favourite. Lovely fresh food cooked from scratch while you are there - you can even see it cooked as the kitchen is partly in the restaurant area - so it takes a while to come out, but totally worth it! And make sure to try their amazing cocktails! Totally recommended.

A lovely restaurant to have in small Kingsbridge, great service and fresh delicious food. However, toilet facilities were bad when I went (late review, visited in December 2017).Overall, a brilliant restaurant with delicious food, nachos recommended.

Best pizza around, quality pizza and toppings and fast, free delivery. The sides are also super tasty, would recommend the curly fries in a meat combo box! Decent prices and good food. Would highly recommend.

Spent the day at North sands beach at Salcombe and made the journey to pizza planet for dinner. Well worth the trip, one of the very best pepperoni pizzas I've ever had and trust me, I had a few. Rest of the family had the Hey pesto and again where very impressed. Will defo be back next year when we're down on holiday again.

Tucked away half way up Fore Street in Kingsbridge, this restaurant is easy to miss. Menu could be more exciting, but we choose it because the owner goes out of her way to make sure that our young granddaughter is well looked after, with toys and amusements. 10/10 for friendliness and kind service

This place knocks the socks of nearly every other Indian restaurant I have visited, and that's a tall order. The service is fantastic and the food is brilliant. The care that goes into every dish is obvious with the presentation alone. If you like Indian food then make sure you don't miss this opportunity if you are in the area.

Visiting the area I searched Google for Indian takeaways around Kingsbridge, confronted by mixed reviews of the Delhi Spice I decided to give it a go. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly, Mo the owner and head chef informed me he had been there for over seven years and he clearly cared about serving the local community. I ordered a chicken Madras and it was absolutely spot on, reminded me of being in South India. Only slight mumble was the size of the chicken pieces but I do understand nothing can ever be perfect, I will certainly order from here again when I am in the area.

Best value pub in Kingsbridge, and loved the food. Not to mention the full works Salcombe G&T for less than you'd expect.

Last minute takeaway needed and really pleased I'd chosen here, I went about with ordering 4 separate dishes all packed with authentic flavourings with a bag of crackers added for free for good measures. Reasonable prices, very welcoming staff. Come and eat again - definitely thanks.

Food was okay, we regularly visit Thai restaurants and because this is balancing between some dishes 'Chinese' and some Thai it wasn't to as high as standard as a Thai only restaurant. Service was okay- wasn't that busy in the restaurant but we were forgotten about for table check after receiving our meals. In fairness when we did have an issue with one of the meals after the meal was done it was rectified. The manager was very professional in his dealing with this. So personally we didn't rate the food a high standard and the service was alright on the hole. We were visitors to the area also.

Fantastic Grilled Chicken with Chorizo and potato salad an absolute winner, this definitely hit my taste buds to the max with really well thought out combinations with flavours. Thank you very much for the welcoming staff, return I shall. Very reasonably priced therefore a must to try.

Went here for a late lunch today. I had the all day breakfast which was the best breakfast I have had for ages. Perfectly cooked and presented. Price included tea/coffee and fruit juice, also toast and marmalade. Very clean and comfortable surroundings and polite friendly waitress. Made a point of thanking chef and staff and also left a well deserved tip.

The Old Bakery is a short 5 minute walk from the main car park but the car park charges up until 8pm so beware! The Old Bakery is in a lovely building and the main dining area is delightful with a great sense of intimacy but with a slightly rustic feeling. We decided to share all of our dishes and had 6 between us - pan fried chicken livers, Souvlaki, Persian lamb, Octopus,a bulgar wheat salad and Dolcelatte. The chicken livers were delicious and perfectly cooked in a sherry sauce, the Souvlaki were tender and very tasty and the salad was outstanding with lots of flavour and different textures. The Octopus was a nice texture but slightly lacking in flavour. We thought the portion of dolcelatte was rather on the small side for the price and as there were 2 of us it would have been great to have had 2 or 4 souvlakis rather than 3. The wine choice was good and we had an excellent Douro which went prefectly with everything. The churros with chocolate sauce were excellent - and I dont usually do deserts! Service was great and the manager was exceedingly charming and friendly. The meal for 2 with wine was £76 which I though was good value for an excellent meal.

Exquisite food, both the busy and tranquility surround. And possibly more importantly, the company is quite fine 💗
